Full, Half, Quarter Pallet Floor Displays & Skirts

Modern Point of Purchase full, half and quarter pallet floor displays were not invented overnight but developed gradually in the 1960s. In 1967 in a historical article, Harry L Cohen wrote “with the continuing trend toward consumer acceptance of products in corrugated, there will be increasing emphasis by box buyers on the design of the shipping container. As a result there will be more interest in printing, die-cutting, and other specialty operations. Trends in merchandising include greater use of shippers which will also serve as displays.”

Now today the free standing full pallet, half pallet and quarter pallet displays are the natural development of the self-service customer. dZignPak is well aware of the trends in the consumer markets. We stay abreast of industry trends, whether they are initiated by the consumers or the retail establishments themselves.

The pallet display structure comprises a pallet defining a maximum length and width boundary of a shipping and display space. The pallet display further comprises one or more display arranged on the pallet that define a maximum height boundary of the shipping and display space. The full, half, or quarter pallet display is shipped directly to and then assembled at a store location. The full pallet, half pallet, or quarter pallet display system is advantageous in facilitating presentation and display of product at a retail location.

Graphic Pallet Skirts
Graphic Pallet Skirts has become the new ingenious way to conceal the false bottom or partition structure that holds the product up. Many wholesale stores have begun to use pallet skirts to adorn pallets and help display the product to give a more retail store feel to the buying experience. The product is packed on the pallet with the floor display and skirt and then assembled on site. Wholesale stores are then able to stack two or more pallets of product on the floor and display pallet skirt to only display a smaller amount of the product. They open up the collapsed pallet skirt and slide it over the pallets hiding them from view. The net effect is that it looks like a tall pallet.

Other Types of Pallet Skirts
Heavy bagged items such as dog food, fertilizer, insecticide and rice displays are usually stacked on pallets and stretch wrapped through the distribution chain to the store. This is becoming another inventive scheme for Graphic Corner Pallet Skirts. These, much like the full pallet skirt described above, are delivered with the shipment and, instead of covering the entire pallet, are put on two corners of the display at the store level.
