| Polyethylene foam, PE, is strong resilient closed cell foam. Closed cell foams such as, PE, allow the foam to absorb shock better, dampen vibrations, and be utilized as an excellent loose fill. Polyethylene has some common uses such as cushioning products in a variety of packaging applications. Polyethylene is lightweight, shatter proof, flexible, cost-effective, and since it is a water tight material PE materials are impervious to mildew, rot, mold and bacteria which makes it an obvious choice for multiple packaging uses. |
